Laura Butts is a dedicated professional serving as the Director of Utah Giving. She has committed her career to fostering meaningful connections between individuals, organizations and the causes that inspire them. Laura’s passion for volunteering is not just a part of her professional life; it is woven into the fabric of her everyday existence. She believes that giving back to the community not only enriches the lives of others but also her own, becoming a catalyst for positive change. In addition to her role as Director of Utah Giving, Laura brings her organizational expertise to bear as an Executive Assistant. Outside of Laura’s professional pursuits, she is a mother and a proud owner of two dogs. Balancing her career with family life, she finds joy reading, writing, traveling, and in nurturing her (adult) children’s growth and encouraging their interests, particularly those that align with community service and environmental stewardship. Family adventures often lead them on beautiful hiking trails or beautiful sandy beaches. Additionally, Laura has a profound interest in the metaphysical realm. This passion enables her to explore the deeper meaning of life, fostering a unique blend of intuition and insight that informs both her personal and professional endeavors.
