Ashley joined Kensington Investment Company with experience in corporate accounting along with family office knowledge. She handles the accounting for all alternative investments as well as KIC’s corporate books. In her role, her main goal is to close the books timely to ensure accurate financials for forecasting.

Ashley graduated from Suffolk University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s in Accounting and later received her Master’s in Accounting in 2020 from SNHU.

‍

In her free time, she loves to read, travel, and learn about interior design. Ashley resides in Winthrop, MA, where she is originally from.

Javier is the lead commercial maintenance technician at KIC, overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of KIC’s commercial properties in the Boston area. He is known for communicating with tenants and residents effectively and for completing service requests meticulously and quickly.

Javier was born in the Dominican Republic, completing secondary school there before moving to the U.S. He and his wife, who is also in the real estate field, have three lovely daughters.

Missy Barrett is an executive assistant, supporting leadership.  Missy has held administrative roles for 20 years, primarily in the tech and pharmaceutical industries. Missy attended Providence College.

Outside of work, Missy enjoys spending time with family and friends, volunteering – especially with her hometown’s Yankee Homecoming summer festivities, gardening, reading, going to the beach, and watching hockey, football, and rugby.

Ramzi is our Assistant general counsel. He provides legal counsel to KIC, and KIC’s affiliate, Grand Circle Travel.

Before joining KIC, Ramzi was a litigation attorney for various law firms in Massachusetts and Rhode Island where he represented hospitals and airlines, as well as small businesses.

‍

Ramzi graduated from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a degree in Bioengineering and earned his law degree from Northeastern University School of Law. He enjoys spending time with his wife and recreationally plays soccer in his free time.

Joe serves Kensington Investment Company as Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Capital Markets. Located in our Utah office, he oversees real estate acquisitions, development project capitalization efforts, and operating property financing and profit maximization activities.

‍

Previously, Joe worked in investment analysis and valuation for MGM Resorts in Las Vegas, where he was responsible for building investment models and feasibility processes across the company’s gaming, hotel, food & beverage, retail, and entertainment business lines.

‍

Prior to that he was an Associate in the real estate valuation practice at KPMG, LLP. Joe earned his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and a Master of Science in Real Estate and MBA from the University of San Diego.

Andres Botier joined the Kensington Investment Company team in 2024 as a Maintenance Technician, where he plays an important role in apartment turnovers, unit renovations, and maintaining the quality of our communities. His hands-on expertise and strong work ethic help ensure apartments are move-in ready and residents receive timely service.

Andres is a graduate of Lynn Technical, where he earned his TIG welding certification. Outside of work, he enjoys biking, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with his dog on long hikes through the woods.

Laura serves as the Director of Utah Giving, where she is dedicated to building meaningful connections between individuals, organizations, and the causes that inspire them. She also brings her organizational and leadership expertise to her role as an Executive Assistant, helping support the organization’s work and its impact within the community.

Laura’s commitment to service extends beyond her professional life. As a mother and foster parent, she has opened her home and heart to children in need of safety, stability, and connection. Her foster care journey most recently led her to adopt her beautiful little girl, Emmi- an experience that has further deepened her appreciation for family, advocacy, and creating spaces where people feel supported and cared for.

Outside of work, Laura enjoys reading, writing, traveling, spending time in nature, and creating meaningful experiences with her family. She also has a deep interest in mindfulness, personal growth, and the metaphysical, reflecting her natural curiosity about connection, healing, and the human experience.

Ted serves Kensington Investment Company as the SVP of Capital Projects. In this role, he focuses on improving the quality and value of all KIC’s real estate holdings by managing and driving all capital and value add projects. Ted received a Bachelor’s of Civil Engineering from McGill University and holds both Massachusetts Real Estate and Construction Supervisor licenses.

Previous to Kensington, Ted worked for Akelius Real Estate Management as a construction manager in Boston portfolio, managing building restorations capital improvement projects. Previous to Akelius, he worked in construction management, overseeing large scale infrastructure projects in Vancouver BC.

Tressa and her son moved to the Park City area Summer of 2019. She spent 10 years in the Santa Cruz, CA mountains managing a privately owned acre retreat in the redwoods.

‍

In Park City she joined PMA, a leading HOA management company. Here she honed her communication and leadership skills, working with the HOA communities of Park City in maintaining annual budgets, capital reserve projects, and general maintenance of the properties. She enjoyed building relationships with the community, Park City residents and vendors.

Tressa is enjoying life in the mountains with her boyfriend and son, camping, hiking, mountain biking and kayaking.

Taylor Elton joined the KIC team the summer of 2023 as a Maintenance Technician. He has been assisting the Operations team in Utah.

Taylor was born in Arizona and raised in SLC. He is a big sports fan. Cheering for all the local SLC teams and the Cincinnati Bengals. In his free time, he also enjoys going golfing, getting into the great outdoors, and spending time with friends.

Jose is responsible for the Maintenance of all the residential properties at KIC. His #1 goal is to achieve a high level of service excellence.

Previously, Jose was working for Royal Sonesta Hotels, where he worked as a Shift Engineer. Jose was born and raised in Cambridge, MA, where he currently resides with his girlfriend and two children. In his spare time, he enjoys catching up with his family, traveling within the states, and eating great food.

Mike is the VP of Residential Real Estate, overseeing the day-to-day operations for Kensington Investment Company's Boston residential properties, as well as representing ownership interests & decision making at Astra Tower. His goal is to drive NOI at all residential properties while achieving high service excellence and retention.

Prior to joining the Kensington team, Mike spent 6 years at The Dolben Company gaining Real Estate Management experience. After two lease-ups at One North of Boston, he became Property Manger at TRAC 75 overseeing marketing, retention, leasing and financial reporting.

‍

Mike is originally from Williamstown, MA and went on to graduate from Curry College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He has resided in the Boston area since 2009, a big Boston sports fan and he enjoys hiking, kayaking, running and live music.

Justin is our General Counsel. He provides legal counsel to KIC, and KIC’s affiliate, Grand Circle Travel.

Before joining us, Justin worked at Homesite Insurance, where he provided strategic legal advice to executives in multiple departments. Earlier, he was an attorney at Donovan Hatem LLP. Justin graduated from Amherst College with a degree in History and earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law.

These days, he lives in Framingham with his wife and two daughters and volunteers as a youth sports coach in his community.

Camille serves as Executive Assistant to the President of Real Estate Development, while supporting both the KIC Development and Operations teams in Utah.

‍

With 10 years of experience in nonprofit and administrative roles, Camille worked most recently as the Executive Support Director for the YMCA of Northern Utah, where she led org-wide projects, supported executive level leadership, and fostered organizational culture. Camille holds a bachelor’s degree in both Business Communications and Nonprofit Leadership & Management from Arizona State University. She also spent time abroad studying International Business at the University of Westminster in London.

When not at work, you can typically find Camille outside exploring Utah’s great outdoors with her boyfriend and their two pups, Wilson and Willow. She also fills her time with concerts, cooking, traveling, and spending time with loved ones!

Rancel joins our team with a strong background in residential maintenance, specializing in HVAC technology. A Norwood resident, he is the proud father of a one-year-old son who brings plenty of joy and adventure to his life. When he's not at work, Rancel enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and occasionally unwinding with a computer game.

Charlotte R. Lewis serves as Executive Vice President of Kensington Investment Company (KIC), the Lewis family’s Boston-based real estate development and investment firm. She is responsible for leading the development of The Townsend in Roxbury. With her brother Edward, who serves as KIC’s CEO – they have set a bold 2035 vision for KIC to be the leading socially and environmentally responsible family Real Estate Development, Investment and Philanthropic organization. Charlotte is deeply committed to developing leaders and building a culture of high values, accountability, and results.

As Chairwoman of the Alnoba Lewis Family Foundation, Charlotte is actively involved in Alnoba’s leadership programs and believes meaningful change begins with strong, daring leaders to make lasting change on behalf of environmental justice, social justice and youth empowerment. Her work is driven by the conviction that both business and philanthropy can be powerful forces for positive social impact. She serves on both the Investment and Giving Committees.

Charlotte also serves as Vice Chair of the Lewis family’s travel companies, Grand Circle Corporation, including Overseas Adventure Travel, Grand Circle Cruise Line, and Grand Circle Travel, building on her parents, Alan and Harriet Lewis’s vision to help change people’s lives through international adventure travel.

Born and raised in Boston, Charlotte is passionate to help change young people’s lives in Dorchester, Roxbury and Mattapan neighborhoods through philanthropy, leadership coaching and experiential learning programs.

‍

She received a BA from Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania for Art & Art History and Sociology as well as a Post Baccalaureate degree in Art from the School of the Museum of Arts. She is sportswoman, world traveler, and philanthropic leader. She is married to Mike Aylward, a Boston Fire Fighter at Ladder 17 and former USMC Scout Sniper First Battalion, Twenty Fifth Marine Regiment, Fourth Marine Division. The couple best enjoy sharing adventures with their young and curious daughter.

An educator, philanthropist, world traveler, and Chair Emeritus of the Lewis Family Foundation, Harriet is passionate about social change, especially in her hometown of Boston and in the countries the family’s travel company, Grand Circle Corporation, visits. Harriet taught children with severe emotional disabilities in Washington, DC, then returned to Boston, where she continued to teach troubled children. From these experiences, she developed her strong belief that our best hope for real, lasting, and deep community transformation rests with our young people.

She founded the Next Generation Leaders program to provide rising college freshmen with a work, service, and international travel program to advance their leadership and improve success in life and college. Harriet is also unwavering in her commitment to working in partnership with the community and ensures that Lewis Family Foundation “ask and listen” to the young people, their families, and leaders who live in the neighborhoods and global villages where we work.

Kayla is a paralegal and administrative assistant at KIC, providing paralegal, administrative, and special project support for our legal department.

Before joining us, Kayla worked at Salem Five Bank as a mortgage loan analyst and, prior to that, she was a paralegal at Doonan, Graves & Longoria LLC. She earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Salem State University. Outside the office, Kayla spends time with her family, plays softball, and loves going to concerts and sporting events. She is a major Boston sports fan—especially of our Boston Celtics! Kayla grew up in Gloucester.

Laura is the Director of Asset Management for Kensington Investment Company’s Utah Operations team.

A Towson University graduate in Mass Communications, Laura enjoys hiking, tennis, Pilates, and cheering on her favorite soccer teams. Originally from Maryland, she values family and is excited to continue building connections in Utah.

Sebastian’s role at Kensington Investment Company is to carry out turnovers and maintenance tasks efficiently, always seeking a balance between the quality of the work and the time required. Additionally, Sebastian supports the CAPEX team whenever they need assistance. Sebastian provides exceptional service to residents and the company, being available to help wherever needed.

Before joining KIC, Sebastian owned and operated Marines Brothers Painting for 8 years, which focused mainly on painting, but also included carpentry, drywall, and plaster work. After selling the company, he worked for 2 years with a company that previously hired his services, where he led projects, built teams, and ensured work was executed efficiently and in an organized manner. Subsequently, he worked for about a year and a half in the painters’ union, where he gained specialized experience in industrial painting, including advanced techniques for large-scale projects such as metal structures. Later, he joined WT Kenny, where he served as a project coordinator and problem solver, ensuring the proper execution and sequencing of work.

In Sebastian’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, talking with them, and creating moments together to share experiences. During the winter, he enjoys skiing, and when he is in Colombia, he likes spending time with his animals, especially horses, which are one of his greatest hobbies.

Ronnie brings more than three decades of administrative and operations experience to her role as Executive Assistant and Office Manager at KIC.

‍

A native New Yorker, Ronnie worked at Carnegie Corporation of New York for nineteen years, supporting the private, nonprofit foundation’s Strengthening U.S. Democracy Program. She also served as a school secretary through the New York City Board of Education and worked in the financial management and advertising industries. Born and raised in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, Ronnie moved north to Massachusetts to be closer to her family in late 2020.

She loves spending time with her daughter and grandchildren and looks forward to visiting her son and his family, who are living in Japan, as soon as possible. Ronnie studied art and art history in college and enjoys painting and crafts, music and live concerts, theater, museums, traveling, and spending time at the beach.

Sarah is responsible for designing, acquiring, planting, and maintaining all gardens including perennial, bulb, annual flowers, ephemerals, and vegetables. She also cares for interior plants. Creates floral arrangements for gatherings and events.

For over 30 years, Sarah has created gardens and floral works of art informed by the colors, textures, and soul of New England. Growing up in rural Maine Sarah developed an early appreciation for the land and the responsibility that comes with caring for it. That foundation continues to influence her work today, with a commitment to sustainability, local sourcing, and thoughtful stewardship of the environment and community.

Sarah is a lifelong resident of New England, a mother of three, a Gigi of two and a believer in passing her horticultural knowledge onto any willing student. She is excited by all opportunities to inspire youth to learn how to garden and grow food.

Camilla Pirete serves as Marketing and Leasing Director for Kensington Investment Company’s Boston portfolio, overseeing residential leasing, marketing initiatives, and resident engagement programming. With a strong background in customer service and relationship building, she is passionate about creating exceptional resident experiences and showcasing the unique qualities of each community.

Prior to joining Kensington, Camilla was the Front Desk Manager at Equinox, where she delivered a high level of customer service in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment. Her dedication to service excellence and people-first approach continue to be central to her success in real estate.

‍

Born in Brazil, Camilla moved to Worcester, Massachusetts, at a young age and became the first college graduate in her family. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Public Relations from Suffolk University in 2017. Her lifelong interest in homes, design, and creating welcoming spaces naturally led her to a career in real estate, where she combines her passion for marketing, customer experience, and interior design.

As a Senior Investment Analyst at Kensington Investment Company, Maria is responsible for forecasting the performance of all non-real estate portfolio investments, conducting DCF valuations on direct investments, and sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities to support KIC’s long-term value creation.

Before joining KIC, Maria held roles in the metals and mining industry, where she managed copper and zinc hedging portfolios and partnered with senior leadership on operational improvement initiatives. At Newmont Corporation, she restructured an underperforming process by implementing business improvement models. Earlier in her career, Maria worked as a Private Equity Analyst at Bloomberg L.P. in New York City, gaining experience in investment valuation and due diligence.

Originally from Lima, Peru, Maria earned a BBA in Finance and International Business from Andrews University in Michigan and recently received her MBA magna cum laude at Cornell University, with a focus on Business Valuation and Data Analytics.

Denice is the Executive Assistant to the President of Real Estate Operations and the Service Excellence Manager of the Boston office. As Executive Assistant, Denice’s focus is on supporting the Executive Operating Group and the Real Estate Team. As Service Excellence Manager, she tracks the excellence of the services given to the residents for all of Kensington’s Real Estate Portfolio.

At the start of Denice’s career she was a Litigation Paralegal at D’Amico Burchfield, LLC gaining her the versatile experience to move into and upward to an Executive Assistant role.

‍

In Denice’s spare time she enjoys, fitness, dancing and anything to do with Boston sports.

As a member of Kensington Investment Company’s Accounting team, Nefrene manages all aspects of Accounts Payable, including processing invoices, overseeing full-cycle disbursement runs, preparing payment and funding recommendations, and reporting on cash positions. Her attention to detail and commitment to accuracy help keep financial operations running smoothly across the organization.

Before joining KIC, Nefrene worked independently as a third-party automotive dealership bookkeeper, building extensive experience managing complex financial processes and business operations.

‍

Nefrene credits her success to hard work and determination. Rather than following a traditional college path, she focused on gaining hands-on experience and developing her expertise through dedication and perseverance.

‍

Outside of work, Nefrene enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her family. She is also the proud mother of two sons who keep her on her toes and bring plenty of energy and joy to her life.

Kushtrim brings more than 20 years of professional experience spanning the culinary, construction, and contracting industries. His diverse background, hands-on expertise, and strong work ethic make him a valuable member of the KIC team.

Originally from Kosovo, Kushtrim moved to the United States with his wife and two children in 2019. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his family, and exploring the natural beauty of Utah.

Sam joins KIC with five years of engineering and maintenance experience, most recently as the Building Engineer for Unico properties where he oversaw downtown Class A office towers. Sam was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT.

In his free time, Sam is an avid sports fan, specifically Atlanta Braves Baseball and cheers on the Utah Utes as well as his Alma Mater Utah State. He also enjoys playing with his boxador (boxer/lab) Odie.

Eddie is a Boston native who loves all things Boston. He is trilingual, speaking English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and enjoys staying connected to his Chinese heritage and culture. He currently lives in Quincy with his wife, and together they are proud “pawrents” to two adorable pups named Barbie and Bluey.

When he’s not working, Eddie enjoys cooking, exploring local trails with his dogs, and diving into history. He’s a bit of a history buff and loves watching historical films and learning about different cultures and traditions. One of his newest hobbies is training with the Martial Athletic Club, where he is learning the art of Lion Dance.

At KIC, Kyle is responsible for the monthly close processes for all Boston Commercial Properties, Utah Commercial Properties, LF-VC, KIC, and the Lewis Family members. He also assists with budgeting and forecasting for both the Boston and Utah properties. Before joining KIC, Kyle began my career as an auditor at RSM. He then worked as a consultant for a few years before most recently serving as a Senior Accountant at Corium LLC.

In Kyle’s free time, he enjoys skiing in the winter—especially out west in Utah and Colorado. During the summer, Kyle likes golfing and fishing, and value spending quality time with family and friends. As an avid Boston sports fan, Kyle is always watching and cheering for the Patriots, Celtics, and Red Sox.

Andrew began working with Kensington Investment Company in the summer of 2007. In his role as Project Manager, he oversees the daily operations of all properties within the portfolio. Andrew has impeccable renovation skills and consistently demonstrates high-quality production.

He was born on the Island of Trinidad and Tobago and graduated from the Presentation Brothers College Grenada in 1980.

Jason handles daily cash reporting for various accounts at KIC, also performing reconciliations and preparing month-end closes for KIC’s residential properties. Additionally, he provides support for AP, ensuring a streamlined invoicing process.

‍

Before joining KIC, Jason worked as a staff accountant at ConRes, responsible for month-end and year-end close process as well as providing annual audit support. Jason graduated from the University of Vermont in 2022 with a Business Administration degree with concentrations in both Finance and Marketing, and a minor in Economics.

‍

In Jason’s spare time, he enjoys gardening, listening to/creating music, and playing golf with his friends and family. You can also find him relaxing with his dog, Ruby.
